IronWorm is a self-spreading npm worm. Infected packages run a Rust binary from a postinstall script that grabs environment variables, cloud credentials, and crypto wallet data, then reuses stolen npm tokens to publish poisoned versions of more packages. 36 packages in the WeaveDB / Arweave / arnext ecosystem were hit before it was contained.
